Randel Bichler retired after 42 years of practice.
Randel “Randy” Bichler graduated from North Dakota State University in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School and was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in 1974. He joined the army and practiced as an Assistant Judge Advocate. He was released from active duty from the Army in 1978 earning the rank of Captain. He continued to serve in the US Army Reserve as an Assistant Judge Advocate General Core from 1978 until his retirement from service as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1997.
In 1978, Mr. Bichler joined Joseph R. Gadola’s general law practice in Wells, MN. Mr. Bichler practiced as Mr. Gadola’s associate until 1998, when Mr. Bichler became the owner and sole practitioner of Bichler Law Office after Mr. Gadola’s death. Mr. Bichler was the City Attorney for the City of Wells from 1997 to 2009. In July 2013, Mr. Bichler sold his practice to the firm of Frundt & Johnson, Ltd., and continued practicing law parttime in their Wells office until his retirement in June 2016.
