Christopher Ubben is licensed to practice law in the states of Minnesota and Iowa. He is a general practice attorney who works primarily in the areas of estate planning and probate, real estate transfers and exchanges, and business and corporate law.
Chris Ubben is a 2007 graduate of Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa with a Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies and English Rhetoric and Minors in Technical Communications and Classical Studies. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa College of Law in Iowa City, Iowa in 2013.
Having worked at Frundt & Johnson as a filing clerk in 2002 and law clerk in 2013, Chris returned to Frundt & Johnson as an Associate Attorney in 2015. Prior to his return he worked as a solo-practitioner in Maple Grove, MN where he gained experience in Family Law, Adoption Law, and Criminal Law. While studying law at the University of Iowa, Chris gained experience in Family Law and in representing parents in Child Protection cases at the University's free legal clinic. Also while at the University of Iowa, Chris acted as a board member to the University of Iowa chapter of the Equal Justice Foundation, and volunteered as an FYI Leader welcoming new students to the College of Law.
Chris Ubben was born and raised in Faribault County and grew up on the family farm outside of Frost. He is licensed to practice law in both Minnesota and Iowa, and is excited to serve the community. In his free time Chris likes to travel, cook, and help his parents on the farm.
